New Winter styles for 2014

                                                  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Allan, Your master shoe maker at Don's footwear. Im pleased to release a few early images of new styles that should be apear on the website in early January. For quite a while now I've wanted take care of customers that live in cold climates  so I guess now is the ideal time is release 2 styles that have fur lining that will make them perfect for cold winter conditions.

5 to 6 Inch Elevator Boots for men

Over the years Ive had quite a few requested to make an increase of the 5 inch boot I on the D'Etna boot I already make. The trouble for me was that I had to start the designing the shoe last from scratch again. You can see quite a different in the regular D'Etna boot and the pair shown here on the website. The new version has a double leather sole (8mm) plus a 5 mm rubber have sole) the Insert is made from both PU rubber and EVA Hardened Foam. I will wait for further inquires for the 5 1/2 - 6 inch. Im sure they will arrive soon.

I received the di vico 2 today, they look good. I tried them on and they felt... lets just say they felt like the most comfortable pair of boots I have worn, elevator or not!

Three new styles have now been added to the website. I will try to create another 4-5 styles before the end of the year. The other important thing that I need to do is to start writing more blog posts. As you all may know spelling and word structure isn't my strong point. I can only hope that customers can see the quality in the pictures.

Allan, I have to admit, I was a little reserved about purchasing a pair of handmade shoes online as I knew it would either be hit or miss. Received the Falcone MST’s today and I must say I was extremely shocked by the quality of the shoes! I just had to try them on right away.  It doesn’t feel exactly the same as regular shoes but it is comfortable enough for me to want to wear them on a regular basis and the arch is very minimal.  As you had mentioned they look ab wonderful in jeans as the pants fall on the shape of the shoes really well.  Almost sneaker like!

Thank you for a job well done and a pleasure doing business with you!  I will be purchasing a pair of dress shoes in the near future and will definitely spread the word.
